For the last week I have been packing this 4-1/8″ Boker trapper around, and its a great knife! (Review Here) One of my favorite things to do in the spring is sitting in the sun whittling roosters… Learned long a go with my Case moose, that a full length clip blade on a 4″ knife, is a great whittling blade… took a little more practice to start, compared to a short blade on a whittling knife, but since I’ve been doing it a couple years, i now prefer the big blade. — Plus, I don’t have to carry a secondary knife for whittlin’
.
For the two weeks prior, it was the 3″ ivory Amherst Cutlery
canoe, great shirt pocket knife, great for 90% of my tasks around the house/homestead.
The first week in March was the Peanut and Toothpick from Feb, then the Amherst canoe with the Toothpick, then I sorta phased out the toothpick.(Don’t know why..Its a great eating knife!)

So far this month my main EDC has been this Queen D2 Toothpick, 5″ closed, carved bone stag handle scales(rather nice, even though I usually don’t like the dark stag look). Wonderful thin, wicked sharp blade… A bit of flex in utility cutting, so i have paired it with the Case SS peanut for work, and have been keeping the Queen for food and the need for razor sharp work.

for the past few weeks, all of Dec. and the last few days of Nov. I have been carrying the Amherst Folding hunter. Good day to day food prep and eating knife, slices well, and holds an edge great even is used against a glass or ceramic plate. Great grip on the stag in the cold, its been snowmobiling, 2 trips, although little use beyond cutting twine/para-cord.
