I seem to be acquiring and carrying older jack knives..There’s just something about providing use for and useing a tool that has history… that has served someone(or several someones) faithfully for 30 or 40+ years, and is still ready to serve you.

So far this month my main EDC has been this Queen D2 Toothpick, 5″ closed, carved bone stag handle scales(rather nice, even though I usually don’t like the dark stag look). Wonderful thin, wicked sharp blade… A bit of flex in utility cutting, so i have paired it with the Case SS peanut for work, and have been keeping the Queen for food and the need for razor sharp work.
